Vacuum cupping is a treatment technique using negative pressure in cups to help improve tissue mobility and improve the healing process. It does this by pulling on the tissue, which is converted to a physiologic response of increased fascial organization and cellular communication. It also improves a blood flow response, increasing the delivery of nutrition and cellular reparative cells while removing cellular waste.
