Body Tempering is a technique developed by Donnie Thompson which uses weighted rods to perform myofascial stretching and improve blood flow dynamics. If you are familiar with foam rolling, where the person tries to roll out muscle tension using body weight on top of the foam roll; take that paradigm and flip it. At Daigle’s Osteopractic Physical Therapy, Dr. Daigle uses weighted steel rods to roll on the patient while the patient is lying (passively).
